The author
Piedad Bonnett, born in 1951 in Amalfi, Colombia, is an acclaimed poet, novelist and essayist, considered one of the great voices of contemporary Colombian literature. A professor of literature and literary critic, she published numerous collections of poetry and novels before writing What Has No Name. His work is marked by a particular focus on emotions, family relationships and intimate fractures.
