Visit the Colombian Andes

Geography: this region stretches some 1,100 kilometers from the south to the north of Colombia, and comprises three main cordilleras: the Eastern Andes, the Central Andes and the Western Andes. There are snow-capped peaks, with the Nevado del Ruiz volcano being the highest peak in the Colombian Andes (5,321 m), fertile valleys, picturesque lakes and spectacular gorges. The Colombian Andes abound in varied landscapes, offering endless opportunities for nature lovers and adventurers.
