Photographers and travelers who use the Lowepro ProTactic BP often point to its superior protection and modularity, making it particularly reliable when carrying expensive equipment on the move. The ability to configure the interior with QuickShelf™ dividers is highly appreciated, as it allows space to be adapted according to the size of lenses, flashes or other photo accessories. Side and top access is often cited as a considerable advantage for changing lenses quickly without emptying the whole bag, which is invaluable when traveling or shooting spontaneously. However, some users note that the total volume remains moderate (around 19 L), which can be a bit tight if you also want to carry a lot of personal belongings or a very bulky computer. Although the AllWeather cover offers good protection against the elements, it’s no substitute for total waterproofing in prolonged storm conditions. Finally, the weight of around 1.6 kg when empty can be a problem if you use it for long days of walking without taking frequent breaks, as a well-filled photo bag quickly becomes heavier than a conventional backpack.
