Note: For the camera, we chose a micro 4/3, a format particularly well-suited to travel. More compact and lighter than a full frame, it significantly reduces the weight of the body and lenses, without sacrificing image quality. It also offers excellent stabilization, great optical versatility and more affordable pricing. When traveling, these advantages make all the difference: less clutter, greater responsiveness and more freedom for everyday photography and filming.

Our opinion
During our trips to Colombia, the G9M2 quickly established itself as our main camera for capturing landscapes, villages and urban scenes. We particularly appreciated its tropicalization, which enabled us to use it without worry in humid areas or under light rainfall, which is very common in some parts of the country. Autofocus responsiveness and precise subject tracking meant we never missed a spontaneous moment, while Dual I.S. stabilization kept our photos and videos perfectly sharp, even when handheld. Images are rich in detail and colors remain natural and true to life. On the minus side, the touchscreen can be a little tricky to handle in bright sunlight, and start-up could be quicker. Despite this, the box remains a reliable, robust and high-performance travel companion.
