Our opinion
We LOVE the Mini 5 Pro, which has quickly established itself as an indispensable tool and the benchmark in its category. Lightweight and easy to slip into a backpack, it deploys in seconds to capture sunsets, craggy peaks and alpine lakes with astonishingly high image quality. 4K HDR video delivers rich, natural-looking footage, even against the light. Stabilization is highly effective, and automatic modes (QuickShots, Timelapse) make it easy to create without the headache. On the other hand, range, while excellent for its category, can quickly drop in windy conditions. Finally, the controller screen is sometimes difficult to read in bright sunlight. Despite these minor drawbacks, the DJI Mini 5 Pro has clearly enriched our visual travel diary and earned its place in our equipment.
