Our opinion
During our extended stays, the 14.2″ MacBook Pro proved an indispensable companion for working and creating on the move. We were won over by its power, which effortlessly handles high-resolution image processing while remaining fluid with several applications open simultaneously. The bright, precise screen is a major asset for retouching photos taken in a variety of lighting conditions. Its generous autonomy enabled us to work for several hours away from an electrical socket, a real plus when we were on the move. On the negative side, the price remains high, which may be a drag on some budgets. Even if we’re not particularly Apple fans (the iPhone isn’t really our cup of tea), compared to Windows-based competitors, the MacBook Pro remains remarkably reliable and efficient: no bugs, exemplary reliability and a very pleasant user experience.
